International service is an important part of our Club.

From the Rotary International effort to stomp out polio, to mission trips around the world, the Rotary Club of Carbondale is an active participant in International efforts.

Our club’s members have been active in Malawi Africa, Pignon, Haiti, and a variety of other countries.

Our current International project is located in Pignon, Haiti. Our club raised funds, and with the assistance of District 6510, purchased and installed a washing machine at the Hospital Bienfaisance.

As part of our Centennial Project, 100 Little Things, we are stepping up to help the Hospital in Haiti again, we are in the process of sending masks to Haiti so they can continue to fight COVID-19 with supplies from their friends in Carbondale, IL.
